Tuition at The Ballet Room is calculated as an annual fee for the full dance season (September–June) and is divided into 10 equal monthly payments for convenience.

Monthly tuition does not reflect the exact number of classes in each month. Some months may have more classes than others due to holidays, scheduled studio closures, or calendar scheduling.

Each class is guaranteed a minimum of 32 instructional classes per season, with most classes receiving approximately 35 classes throughout the year.

Scheduled closures such as Winter Break, Spring Break, and statutory holidays are already taken into account when calculating tuition.

Because tuition reflects the full season of training and a dancer’s reserved place in class, tuition is not prorated for missed classes or scheduled studio closures.

Tuition is calculated based on the total number of hours a dancer attends per week.

Our pricing uses a tiered structure, which means dancers who enroll in multiple classes receive a reduced rate per class compared to taking individual classes separately.

For example, one 30-minute class per week would be $48/month, or two 30-minute classes per week would be discounted to $70/month.

-Missed Classes-

Because class sizes are limited and choreography is taught progressively throughout the season, make-up classes are not offered for missed classes.

Tuition reserves your dancer’s place in class for the full season.

-Withdrawals-

30 days written notice is required to withdraw from a class.

Registration fees and costume deposits are non-refundable.

-Additional Costs-

There is a non-refundable Registration Fee of $30.

The Ballet Room has a required uniform that can be purchased directly from the studio. Please see uniform page for more information on this.

Part of joining The Ballet Room is participating in our year end recital where dancers perform a routine for their loved ones. Each class will wear a costume selected by their instructor. We do our best to choose high quality but affordable costumes from local vendors.

A costume deposit of $50.00 per class will be charged on November 1st, with the remaining balance due when costumes arrive. Costumes will be approximately $85.00 per class. Please remember, if you child is in multiple classes, there will be multiple costume fees.

Festival, Competition, Exam and Costume fees are extra fees which are not included in the general tuition.
